Council Committees and Workgroups:

Bridges Out of Poverty Committee - This committee provides leadership to educate the community about the hidden rules and culture of poverty.

Early Childhood Collaborative Committee - Early childhood professionals meet to share information, promote quality early care and education and avoid duplicating services.

Executive Board – The Executive Board, in the absence of specific direction from the Council, shall have and exercise all powers of the Council in the conduct of Council business and affairs, including but not limited to, administering and overseeing an annual operating budget, hiring and supervising the Coordinator and handling conflict resolution.

Marketing/Collaboration Committee - The goal of the committee is to promote the important work being done by the Council and strengthen the partnerships among members.

Parent Advisory - The parent representatives on Council meet to provide parent and consumer perspective on local services, Council activities and community needs.

Trauma Informed Care - Professionals from child welfare, mental health, education, developmental disabilities and early childhood promote an understanding of the physical and emotional effects of childhood trauma, leading to more effective responses and treatment for children and youth.
